practicing vocab with spaced repetition flashcard software simply feels dry

• I recently watched this video which attempted to make Anki fun by simply introducing fresh CSS and background images
• I attempted this approach on my own learning platform samlearns.org
• Specifically, I tried this for Vietnamese sentence connectors and abstract words
• …but nope, still boring. I think I’m permanently filing simple flashcard word-by-word practice under “too boring”.
